MEMBERSHIP IN SEARCH AND RESCUE 

Men and women of the Ferry County Search and Rescue team are unpaid professionals willing to serve the community by providing a vital service. Each member is a volunteer skilled in rapid response rescue techniques, First Aid and CPR, and trained in using specialized rescue equipment.

Membership requirements:

• 18 years of age
• Valid drivers licence and automobile insurance
• Abide the FCSAR by-laws and all applicable laws
• Background check
• Attend general meetings and training sessions
• Maintain personal equipment

Attend a SAR meeting and meet the team:

• Bring completed application to monthly SAR meeting
  • Second Tuesday of the month
  • 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
