Local Support Assists SAR Team

Republic, WA. May 1, 2008. The Ferry County Search and Rescue Team recently purchased a 24’ enclosed trailer which is used as a Mobile Command Center. The new trailer will replace a 30 year old modified school bus and will be outfitted with essential equipment required for extended search and rescue missions. The purchase of the Mobile Command Center trailer would not have been possible without a grant from the North Ferry County Enterprise Committee, the support of the Ferry County Sheriff and the backing of the Ferry County Commissioners.
